Q: Can I use JTAGTest with Altera USB-Blaster® or compatible?
Answer:
No. Altera® USB-Blaster and ViaTAP JTAG Interfaces are not compatible, although they have compatible pinout. Moreover, USB-Blaster only allows fixed-frequency TCK, which is not working on some non-Altera devices (typically ARM MCUs).
